handmade rustic
Do you have any elegant, rustic, vintage, handmade wedding ideas?

My fiance and I are getting married on a very small budget way under $10,000. Our wedding reception will be in a hall that was built in the 1800’s. It’s a beautiful place! I’m looking for some elegant, rustic, vintage, handmade wedding ideas? I’m making just about every wedding decoration for the wedding reception. Do you have some ideas or websites that would help me out? Thank you! :)

when someone says elegant rustic vintage to me, i immediately picture mason jars tied with lacey ribbon and filled with beautiful garden or wild flowers, mix-matched china and stemware collected from yard sales and flea markets, odd collections of vintage candle stickes, chintz table clothes or runners and napkins tied with ribbon and a flower for a napkin ring.

old mirrors, old books, old photo frames, old perfume bottles, old silver serving dishes or ceramic ones….all make great decorations piled up, stood up, tied together hung on walls or from rafters. even old bottle collections or old jewerly or fans or umbrellas or old shoes or beautiful feathers. there is just no limit to what you can use. get in your grandmothers attic and start digging about. you will find tons of inspiration. here is a site with a few ideas. http://www.ohdarlingwedding.blogspot.com/2010/11/rustic-vintage-chic-wedding-decor.html
